The latest episode of SmackDown was broadcast from Dublin as John Cena and Becky Lynch delighted the Irish crowd with some fiery words and awe-inspiring action. There was tag team action as Melo Don’t Miz clashed against The Motor City Machine Guns and he Street Profits took on the duo of Tonga Lao and JC Mateo.

Carmelo Hayes and The Miz were up against the duo of Chris Sabin and Alex Shelly in the first bout of the night, after Becky Lynch’s promo, and it lived up to its billing as the Miz picked up the win for his side as he completed the pin following a devastating Lung Blower from Melo to Shelly.
Piper Niven Vs Charlotte Flair
The biggest upset of the night came from Niven, who picked up the win over Charlotte Flair, albeit with some help from Chelsea Green, who landed The Queen’s Eyes multiple times on Flair as Niven capitalised on her opening with a Michinoku Driver.

The Street Profits Vs Tonga Loa and JC Mateo
The duo of Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford picked up the win over Tonga Loa and Mateo as Jimmy Uso and Sami Zayn nullified the threat posed by Tala Tonga. Ford seized the moment as he connected with a frog splash on Loa to pick up the victory by pinfall.
Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill Vs Becky Lynch and Nia Jax
Hometown girl Becky Lynch opened the show with an in-ring promo much to the surprise of the Dublin crowd, before she was interrupted by Tiffany Stratton. The heated exchange between the pair resulted in main event tag team fixture. Unfortunately for the Irish woman, she ended up on the wrong side of the result as Stratton and Cargill picked up the win after Lynch had left Jax to fend for herself, which she ultimately couldn’t.

Logan Paul Assaults John Cena
John Cena, on his farewell tour, cut an in-ring promo which was abruptly interrupted by Logan Paul. However, the legendary Cena gave Paul a taste of what it feel like to be in the ring with a bonfide icon such as Cena talked smack before planting Paul with an Attitude Adjustment.
However, Drew McIntyre advised Paul to get even before the end of the night backstage. It all culminated with the final segment of the show as Smackdown GM Nick Aldis thwarted Cena from leaving the premises, informing the legend that he had word from Brock Lesnar. However, Paul clocked Cena with a punch in the face to knock his lights out.
