The Sensex is trading 350 points to 81,925 on the last trading day of the week i.e. on Friday, July 18. The Nifty declines by about 100 points, at the level of 25,000.

Of the 30 shares of Sensex, 21 declines and 9 declines. Axis Bank’s stock is 4% below. Apart from this, Airtel and Kotak Bank shares have also fallen more than 2%. M&M, L&T and Tata Steel shares have climbed more than 1%.

Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 22 shares have fallen, while 28 shares are above. The Nifty Private Banking Index is the highest falling 1%. Media, IT, metal, auto and realty shares are more shopping, that is, they are boom.

Asian markets declines, American boom

  • In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei is trading at a level of 39,778 at 39,778 and Korea’s Cospie falls 0.46% to 3,177.
  • Hong Kong’s Hangseng index is trading at 24,645 below 0.60% and China’s Shanghai Composite climbing 0.34% to 3,528.
  • On July 17, the US Dow Jones closed at 44,484 above 0.52%. At the same time, Nasdaq Composite climbed 0.75% to 20,886 and S&P 500 closed at 6,297 above 0.54%.

Foreign investors on 17 July ₹ 3,694 Sold shares worth crores

  • On July 17, Foreign Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth Rs 3,694.31 crore in the cash segment. At the same time, domestic investors (DIIs) made a net purchase of Rs 2,820.77 crore.
  • So far, foreign investors have sold shares worth Rs 17,330.49 crore in July. At the same time, domestic investors have purchased a net of Rs 19,790.01 crore during this period.
  • Net purchases of foreign investors in June stood at Rs 7,488.98 crore. At the same time, domestic investors also purchased a net purchase of ₹ 72,673.91 crore in a month.

The market fell 375 points yesterday

The Sensex fell 375 points to close at 82,259 on Thursday (July 17), the fourth trading day of the week. The Nifty also declined by 101 points, it has come to 25,111.

The Sensex declined 22 out of 30 shares. The shares of Tech Mahindra, Infosys and HCL Tech closed down to 2.70%. At the same time, shares of Tata Steel, Trent and Tata Motors rose 1.70%.

Out of 50 shares of Nifty, 31 shares closed down. The IT index of NSE dropped the highest 1.39%, media and banking stocks also declined. Realty, metal and pharma shares closed up today.
