The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has extended the round 1 counselling 2025 online reporting and fee payment deadline till June 22. Candidates can check the updated schedule by visiting the official website at josaa.nic.in. The revised schedule for subsequent rounds of JoSAA 2025 will be uploaded soon on the official portal, the notice added.
“The last date for online reporting (submit willingness, upload documents, fee payment) for Round 1 is extended till 5pm on June 22nd 2025 (Sunday). Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 1 and did not complete the online reporting process, can now submit their willingness (Freeze/Float/Slide), upload all the necessary documents and pay the Seat Acceptance Fee till the above mentioned deadline,” reads the official notice.
The JoSAA counselling 2025 round 1 seat allotment result was released on June 14.
Online Reporting Process
— Candidates who have already paid the Seat Acceptance Fee through the pre-payment option must submit their willingness (Freeze, Float, Slide) and upload all relevant documents as required. Failure to do so by the deadline will result in the cancellation of the provisionally allotted seat, and the candidate will not be considered for seat allocation in subsequent rounds.
— Candidates who have already uploaded their documents through the Pre-Allotment Document Upload option must review and submit them finally, completing any remaining activities. If not completed by the deadline, the provisionally allotted seat will be cancelled, and the candidate will not be considered for seat allocation in subsequent rounds.
— It is mandatory to submit your willingness (Freeze, Float, Slide), upload all relevant documents, and pay the Seat Acceptance Fee (if not already paid through the pre-payment option). Failure to complete these steps by the deadline will lead to the cancellation of the provisionally allotted seat, and the candidate will not be considered for seat allocation in subsequent rounds.
JoSAA is conducting counselling for admission to a total of 62,853 B.Tech seats this year. This includes 18160 seats in IITs, 24525 in NITs, 9940 in NITs and 10228 in other-GFTIs.
