NIOS Class 12 Result 2025: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the Class 12 (Senior Secondary) public exam results at nios.ac.in and results.nios.ac.in.
NIOS 12th Result 2025: The recheck and re-evaluation window will open on June 20 for 15 days.
NIOS Class 12 Senior Secondary Result Declared: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the Class 12 (Senior Secondary) public exam results for the April/May 2025 session. Students can now check their results on the official websites, nios.ac.in and results.nios.ac.in. 73.72 percent students have passed the exams.
A total of 1,46,627 candidates appeared for the exams, which were held from April 9 to May 19 in a single session. This includes 96,404 male, 50,145 female, and 78 transgender students. Of these, 94,457 students have been certified by the institute.
Students who have secured at least 33% marks in five subjects have been declared successful.
Steps To Check NIOS Class 12 Result 2025
Students can check their results by following the simple steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official NIOS website – nios.ac.in or results.nios.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the link for the Class 12 result.
Step 3: Enter your enrollment number.
Step 4: Submit the details and download your result.
From June 20, students can raise concerns about their results via the student portal sdmis.nios.ac.in. Discrepancies must be reported within 30 days, and the rechecking and re-evaluation window will be open for 15 days starting the same day.
Students can also write to rcell@nios.ac.in for any queries related to their results.
Steps To Apply For Result Correction
Step 1: Log in to the student dashboard at sdmis.nios.ac.in.
Step 2: Choose the subject you want to apply for correction.
Step 3: Select the relevant correction type:
Practical marks not included
Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) marks missing
Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks missing
Marked “ABSENT” in theory despite appearing
Step 4: Choose a payment gateway and pay the required processing fee (each correction type is charged separately).
Step 5: Save the payment receipt.

Track your correction request status under the “My Request” section in the Result Correction tab. Students can collect their marks statement-cum-certificate and migration-cum-transfer certificate from their respective study centres free of cost.
