A golfer from New York has been in the news. This golfer has claimed to have a record of playing golf for the most consecutive hours. He played a golf for 35 consecutive hours from Sunday evening to Tuesday morning on a course in Long Island.
The name of this golfer is Kelechi Ezihie. Kelechi initially targeted to play 24 hours to make a Guinness World Record. Later he came to know that a British golfer has played for 32 consecutive hours on a Norway course in May. He told that his sister had called him after seeing a 32 -hour record while searching on the Internet.
27 -year -old Kelechi AGIII showed full commitment after this. He did not give up despite rain, fatigue and leg pain. Eventually, he was successful in leaving the British’s Isac Rollands behind.
Kelechi said, ‘I feel proud to say that I am a world champion. This is an opportunity that many people do not get. This is definitely something about which I will definitely tell my children and my grandchildren in future.
With the flashlight and golf balls shining in the dark, Kelechi AGhi started playing at the Huntington Crescent Club at around 6.30 pm on Sunday and put his last put after 5.30 am on Tuesday. Meanwhile, he played a total of 126 holes. During this, he played golf for about 35 hours.
