The film ‘Chidiya’ was released on 30 May. The film is based on the background of a chawl in Mumbai and is the story of two brothers who wish to play badminton. The film ‘Chidiya’ is the story of two children Shanu and Bua living in a tight chawl in Mumbai. The life of these children is full of struggles. His father has died and mother Vaishnavi is trying to run home alone. Both Shanu and Bua work hard at the age of studies. One day when they go in search of work in a film studio, they see an old badminton racket.

Talking about Vinay Pathak’s character ‘Bali’, he took a unique decision during the shooting. Fabrics were specially designed for him, but he decided to wear spot boy’s clothes on the set. He said, these clothes looked more real and helped to join the character’s pain.
