CBSE Re-Evaluation 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has commenced the application process for Class 10th and 12th students seeking scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets. Candidates can apply through the board’s official website at cbse.gov.in starting today, May 21, 2025. The last date to submit applications is May 27, 2025.

Students are required to pay Rs 700 per subject to obtain scanned copies of their answer books. Only those who apply through the prescribed process will be eligible to request verification of marks later. According to CBSE, scanned copies will allow students to review their evaluations in detail and identify any possible errors in marking.

How To Apply For CBSE Answer Sheet Copies?

Step 1: To obtain a photocopy of your evaluated answer book, follow these steps:

Step 2: Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

Step 3: Click on the link for “Scanned Copy of Evaluated Answer Book” on the homepage.

Step 4: You will be redirected to a new page; enter your credentials and other required details.

Step 5: Apply and make the payment of Rs 700 per subject.

Step 6: Download the confirmation page and keep a printed copy for future reference.

CBSE Re-Evaluation 2025: What After Obtaining Answer Sheets?

After receiving the answer sheet photocopies, students who believe there has been a discrepancy can proceed with further steps such as mark verification or re-evaluation. The application window for these processes will open on May 28 and remain active until June 3, 2025.

For mark verification, the fee is Rs 500 per subject, while re-evaluation of individual answers will cost Rs 100 per question. The results of the verification process will be communicated via the same login credentials used to request the scanned answer sheets.
