CUET UG Re-Test Answer Key 2024 Released for July 19 Exam

NTA has issued the Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate (CUET UG) Re-Test Answer Key 2024. On July 19, NTA administered the CUET UG 2024 re-exam for 1,000 applicants. Candidates who re-took the CUET UG courses may access the provisional answer key at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/. According to the official announcement, the provisional answer key, together with question papers and recorded responses, has been released online for all candidates who participated in the CUET (UG) – 2024 for them to challenge if required.

NTA Working on CUET-UG Results, Date to Be Announced Soon: UGC Chief

University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar had earlier said the date for the declaration of results for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG will be announced soon. “NTA is working on CUET results and will announce a date soon,” the UGC chairman said.

Why Delay in CUET UG Result 2024?

CUET-UG is conducted for admissions to undergraduate courses across central universities and other colleges in India. Its results have been delayed as NTA found itself embroiled in a controversy after declaring the results of NEET-UG on June 4 – the same day the results of the Lok Sabha elections were declared. Furthermore, after the answer key was released on July 7, the NTA said it would “redo” the test for candidates with genuine grievances. The retest was held between July 15-19 for over 1000 candidates.

CUET UG Result 2024 Live Updates: Number of Exam Days Reduced To 8 From 34 Last Year

Sadhna Parashar, senior director, NTA had earlier said that the agency reduced the exam duration from 34 days last year to eight days this year. Last year, the exam schedule was stretched for over a month because of the unavailability of as many computer labs at all locations and, hence, it was decided to conduct the exam in the hybrid mode this year, she had said.

Provisional Answer Key for CUET UG Re-Test

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET UG answer key on July 7. The last date to raise objection was July 9. Experts in the field will verify the challenges put up by the candidates. If any candidate’s challenge is deemed to be accurate, the Answer Key will be changed and applied to all candidates’ responses as needed.
