As soon as the budget was presented, reactions started coming in. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described it as a budget that will take us on the path of prosperity. He said – 25 crore people have come out of poverty in the last 10 years. This is a budget that will give countless new opportunities to the youth.

.

However, the opposition is unhappy with the special attention given to Bihar and Andhra Pradesh in the budget. Opposition leaders have called it a government-save budget. Rs 58,900 crore has been announced in the budget for infrastructure and other projects in Bihar and Rs 15,000 crore for the development of Andhra Pradesh’s new capital Amaravati.

The opposition says that there is no roadmap for the future in the budget. People are troubled by inflation and unemployment, but there is no plan for this in the budget.

Highlights of PM Modi’s speech on budget…

  • This is a budget that will give new strength to the middle class. This has come with a plan to strengthen the tribal people and Dalits.
  • This budget will increase the work force of women. Manufacturing and infrastructure have also been emphasized in the budget.
  • The budget has brought new opportunities, new energy, which has been the hallmark of our government. Better opportunities for employment and self-employment will be available.
  • The world has seen the success of the PLI scheme. In this, the government has announced an incentive scheme, which will create crores of jobs.
  • Our government will pay the first salary to the youth who gets the first job in this. With this, the poor young sons and daughters of villages will work in the top companies of the country.
  • Today, defense exports are at a record level. In this budget, an attempt has been made to make the defense sector self-reliant.
  • It is the need of the hour for India to become self-reliant in the agricultural sector. Therefore, incentives have been announced to help farmers and increase the demand for pulses and oilseeds.
  • Poverty must be eradicated. The poor must be empowered. Announcements were made in this direction in today’s budget. It has been decided to build 3 crore new houses.

Rahul and Akhilesh said- this government should save the budget
Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has called it a government-save budget. He said that the budget appeased the alliance parties. The government’s internship program for the youth has been copied and pasted from the Congress manifesto.

Samajwadi Party president and Kannauj MP Akhilesh Yadav said that Bihar and Andhra Pradesh have been linked with special schemes to save the government. No major decisions have been taken for the farmers of a state like Uttar Pradesh which gave the country a Prime Minister.

Congress MP Shashi Tharoor says that issues related to common people were nowhere to be seen in the budget. There was no mention of MNREGA. The announcements made to improve the income of the common man are inadequate. There were no special opportunities for new jobs in the budget.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh has targeted the government’s youth internship program. Ramesh has called it a copy of the Congress’s ‘First Job Confirmed’ program. He said that the Congress had proposed this program in the party’s manifesto in the Lok Sabha elections, learning from which the Finance Minister has announced the youth internship program.

Nitish and Naidu happy with the budget
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar says that we have already asked the government several times to give Bihar the status of a special state. This is the reason why Bihar has started getting help now.

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu thanked Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for understanding the needs of the state and fulfilling them. At the same time, TDP leader Nara Lokesh said that the budget is a new sunrise for Andhra. This will prove to be very helpful in achieving the development goals of Andhra Pradesh.

Now the opinion of the state leaders…
Pappu Yadav said-
Nitish is the kingmaker, yet he did not get the status of a special state
Independent MP from Bihar Pappu Yadav said that the government is talking about giving 4 crore jobs. First they should tell how many jobs were given in 10 years. Nitish Kumar is the kingmaker, yet Bihar did not get the status of a special state. He should not beg but should separate from the government.

Shiv Sena leader Aditya Thackeray has accused the Centre of ignoring Maharashtra. He said that such a big budget was given to Bihar and Andhra Pradesh to save the government, but what is Maharashtra’s fault. Maharashtra is the biggest tax payer. What did we get in return for contributing to the country. Was Maharashtra mentioned even once in the budget? Why is BJP insulting Maharashtra so much?

Finally, let’s talk about women MPs…
Priyanka Chaturvedi said- made partners happy to run the government for 5 years
Priyanka Chaturvedi, Rajya Sabha MP from Shiv Sena-UBT, said that the government realised that if it has to run the government for the next 5 years, then it has to keep the alliance partners happy. This is the reason why special care was taken of Andhra Pradesh and Bihar in the budget. Both the states may not have got the status of special state, but they were given funds.

Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav said that there is nothing in the budget about women’s health and safety. The government is not taking any steps to stop inflation. The purchasing power of people in rural areas is decreasing, which has not been paid any attention to.
