HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?
- The Teer game, a unique lottery in Meghalaya, is played in two rounds, each lasting two minutes.
- Skilled archers fire 30 arrows in the first round and 20 arrows in the second at a specific target.
- Players place bets by predicting a number between 0 and 99, which corresponds to the total number of arrows that will hit the target.
- If a player’s prediction aligns with the result of either round, they win.
- Lottery tickets for the game, available through authorized vendors, cost between Rs 1 and Rs 50, making it accessible to a broad audience while adding an element of excitement and chance to the traditional sport of archery.
Shillong Teer Lottery Prize Structure
The Shillong Teer lottery prize is determined by the accuracy of participants’ predictions and the total cash collected from bets.
For instance, a Rs 1 wager can yield a reward of Rs 80 for correctly predicting the first round’s result, and Rs 60 for an accurate guess in the second round. If a player predicts the outcomes of both rounds correctly and wagers Rs 1 on each, they can win up to Rs 4,000.
In addition to Shillong Teer, Meghalaya hosts other lotteries such as Ladrymbai Teer, Khanapara Teer, and Jowai Teer, providing ample opportunities for participants.
