The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification for the UPSC CDS I Exam 2025 notification on its official website. Candidates can now apply for the Combined Defence Services Examinations (I), 2025 can check the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. Candidates can fill the UPSC CDS 2025 application form by December 31, 2024.

UPSC CDS (1) 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
For Indian Naval Academy— Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution
For Air Force Academy—Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age Limit And Marital Status
For IMA—Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than January 2, 2002 and not later than January 1, 2007 only are eligible.
For Indian Naval Academy—Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than January 2, 2002 and not later than January 1, 2007 only are eligible.
For Air Force Academy— Age: 20 to 24 years as on 1 st January 2026 i.e. born not earlier than January 2, 2002 and not later than January 1, 2006 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than January 2, 2000 and not later than January 1, 2006 only are eligible
For Officers’ Training Academy—(SSC Course for men) unmarried male candidates born not earlier than January 2, 2001 and not later than January 1, 2007 only are eligible.
For Officers’ Training Academy—(SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than January 2, 2001 and not later than January 1, 2007.
UPSC CDS (1) 2025 Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 200. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and female candidates are exempted from the application fee.
Here’s How To Apply For UPSC CDS (1) 2025
Step 1: Visit the official website – upsc.gov.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads “One Time Registration (OTR) for Examinations” (for the candidates who are applying for the first time)
Step 3: Complete the OTR and proceed to fill out the UPSC CDS 2025 application form
Step 4: Upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee
Step 5: Now submit the application form and download it.
Step 6: Take a printout of the application form for future reference
According to the official notification, the eligible candidates will be issued an e-Admit Card on the last working day of the preceding week of the examination date. The e-Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website upsc.gov.in) for downloading by candidates. No eAdmit Card will be sent by post.
