CAT 2024 Answer Key: Candidates can register objections by visiting the official website at iimcat.ac.in and paying the prescribed fee

The Common Admission Test or CAT 2024 provisional answer key challenge window will close today, December 5, 2024, at 11: 55 PM. Candidates can register objections by visiting the official website at iimcat.ac.in and paying the prescribed fee. Candidates will be required to use their registration numbers and passwords to access the CAT 2024 Answer Key. The CAT answer key will be reviewed by the IIM and thereafter the final answer key and results will be announced based on the objections received.
As per the marking, for every correct answer, students will get three points and one point will be deducted for each wrong answer. However, negative marking is limited to multiple-choice questions only. Candidates can use the answer key and the marking scheme to calculate their probable scores.
IIM CAT 2024 Answer Key: Steps To Raise Objection
Step 1: Visit the official CAT website – iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the candidate login link.
Step 3: Now look for the CAT 2024 Answer Key link
Step 4: Click on the link and the answer key in PDF format will appear on your screen
Step 5: Download and save.
Step 6: To raise objection, select the question you want to raise objection to
Step 7: Upload supporting documents, pay the fees
Step 8: Submit and download the page for future reference.
IIM CAT 2024 examination was conducted on November 24, 2024. The exam was held in three sessions. The exam was held in three shifts. The first session of the exam was held from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, the second from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and the third shift was held from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. According to media reports, this year 89% of the candidates who registered for CAT had taken this exam. Out of 3.29 lakh candidates who registered for the CAT exam, 2.93 lakh have taken the exam.
The CAT exam is held for applicants interested in pursuing admission to prestigious postgraduate and doctorate courses provided by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and several other participating institutions. In all, 1,164 MBA colleges in India accept CAT results for admission. While 138 of them are government or public universities, the rest 1,026 are privately run.
