Global investor Mark Mobius has called the US Justice Department (DoJ)’s indictment against Adani Group officials as wasteful. Speaking to news agency IANS on Tuesday, Mobius said the prosecution was nothing but a wasteful extravagance and once Donald Trump takes office, such useless exercises linking government offices with foreign businesses would probably end. .
This comment of Mobius has come at a time when serious questions are being raised about the independence of the US Justice Department and its prosecution against Adani Group. The question is also whether DoJ is being used for ‘politically motivated actions’!
