Action against 4 policemen in infiltration case in Assistant High Commission On Monday, many people took out a rally around the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala, the capital of Tripura, in protest against the arrest of former Chittagong ISKCON chief Chinmoy Prabhu.

During this, more than 50 protesters entered the premises of Bangladesh Assistant High Commission. On Tuesday, three sub-inspectors have been suspended in this case. A DSP has been asked to report to the police headquarters for dereliction of duty. Apart from this, seven protesting people have also been arrested.

After infiltration, security of all the assistant commissions of the country increased The incident in Tripura was condemned by the Indian External Affairs Ministry on Monday. The ministry had said- Today’s incident of infiltration in the premises of Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala is very regrettable. Diplomatic and consular property should not be targeted under any circumstances.

The Ministry of External Affairs decided to increase the security of Delhi-based Bangladesh High Commission and other assistant commissions across the country. ,
