After clearing the UPSC Civil Services Examination, the toppers undergo training at the Administrative Academy before being posted in various cadres across the country. Here’s where the top candidates from the UPSC 2023 exam have been assigned.
Topper Aditya Shrivastava’s Posting
Aditya Shrivastava, the topper of the 2023 UPSC Civil Services Examination, has been appointed to the Uttar Pradesh cadre as an IAS officer. A native of Uttar Pradesh, Aditya’s appointment to his home state comes after completing his training.
Animesh Pradhan: Second Rank and Odisha Cadre
Animesh Pradhan, who secured the second rank, has been allotted the Odisha cadre. Like Aditya, Animesh will serve in his home state as an IAS officer.
Donuru Ananya Reddy: Third Rank and Maharashtra Cadre
Third in the rankings, Donuru Ananya Reddy from Telangana, has been allocated the Maharashtra cadre.
Other Top 10 UPSC 2023 Toppers and Their Cadres
- PK Siddharth Ramkumar (Rank 4) has been posted to the Maharashtra cadre.
- Ruhani (Rank 5), hailing from Delhi, will serve in Haryana.
- Sashti Dabas (Rank 6), also from Delhi, has been appointed to the Rajasthan cadre.
- Anmol Rathod (Rank 7) has been posted to Jammu and Kashmir.
- Ashish Kumar (Rank 8), from Rajasthan, will serve in Madhya Pradesh.
- Nausheen (Rank 9) has been allocated the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
- Aishwarya Prajapati (Rank 10), from Uttar Pradesh, will serve in Rajasthan.
In total, the Department of Personnel and Training has allotted cadres to 180 IAS officers from the 2023 UPSC Civil Services Examination, with each officer assigned to their respective regions across the country.
