NEET Paper Leak: CBI ने पटना एम्स के 4 डॉक्टर गिरफ्तार किए, पेपर सॉल्व करने का आरोप


In the NEET paper leak case, the CBI has arrested four doctors of Patna AIIMS, Karan Jain, Kumar Shanu, Rahul Anand and Chandan Singh. These four doctors are accused of solving the paper. All four are currently MBBS students in AIIMS. Pankaj, the accused of paper leak, had given the paper to the four doctors to solve.

Along with MBBS third year student accused Chandan Singh, Kumar Sanu and Rahul Anand, CBI has also taken second year student Karan Jain into custody. Of these, Chandan Singh is from Siwan, Kumar Sanu is from Patna, Rahul Anand is from Dhanbad and Karan Jain is from Araria. CBI team reached Patna AIIMS for the first time yesterday afternoon. For the first time, CBI took Chandan Singh with them. For the second time, at 6 pm, they took Kumar Sanu and Rahul Anand with them. CBI has produced all the arrested accused in Patna court and has sought their remand.

AIIMS Patna Director GK Paul while talking to Aaj Tak said, ‘It is shocking for us that our students are involved in such a thing. We will wait for the CBI report. If these students of ours are involved then action will be taken against them. All these students are very intelligent.’

CBI has unraveled the entire network from the leak of NEET paper to its delivery to candidates with a set-up. CBI has also arrested Pankaj, who stole the paper from the truck carrying the paper, whose connection with the principal of Hazaribagh’s Oasis School was found. The paper had reached Sanjeev Mukhiya from this school in Hazaribagh.

Two people were arrested on Tuesday

On Tuesday itself, the CBI arrested two people in the NEET paper leak case. The CBI arrested Pankaj Kumar from Patna and a person named Raju Singh from Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. Pankaj is accused of stealing the paper from a truck in Hazaribagh and distributing it further. Raju Singh had helped in distributing the paper to the people further.

According to the information, Pankaj is a civil engineer and hails from Bokaro, Jharkhand. He had stolen the paper from a trunk in Hazaribagh and distributed it further. Raju Singh had helped in distributing the paper further. Pankaj is the mastermind behind the paper theft. According to sources, Pankaj Kumar alias Aditya Kumar had stolen the paper from the trunk and distributed it further to his gang members. NTA had delivered the paper to different centres through this truck.

What was the whole matter?

There has been a panic among the candidates since the result of NEET UG exam was announced on June 4. After seeing the result, the students suspected rigging in the exam after seeing the names of 67 toppers and 8 toppers from the same center in the list. After this, the students raised the demand for investigation against NTA from the streets to social media. Many petitions were filed in the Supreme Court and in the meantime, NTA decided before the court that it will conduct the examination again for the candidates with grace marks. The exam was held on June 23 and the toppers decreased from 67 to 61.
