Along with the northern states of the country, now the effect of cold is increasing in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan also. On Saturday, the temperature reached below 10 degrees in 18 cities of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. It has 9 cities of Rajasthan and 9 of Madhya Pradesh.
On the other hand, after Jammu and Kashmir, snowfall is about to begin in Himachal Pradesh also. The Meteorological Department has said that snow may fall in Chamba, Kangra, Lahaul Spiti and Kullu districts today. The minimum temperature of Tabo in Lahaul Spiti has dropped to minus 8.7 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Samdo has fallen by 1.3 degrees, in Kukumsairi by 4.1 degrees and in Keylong by 2.0 degrees.
Apart from cold, an alert of dense fog has also been issued in many states of the country. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be fog in Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh on Saturday morning. However, the fog will clear by afternoon.

Dense fog covered Bhopal on Saturday morning. The minimum temperature here was recorded below 15 degrees.
Shimla, Himachal Pradesh was covered with dense fog on Saturday morning. The minimum temperature here was recorded below 10 degrees.
Cold increased in MP-Rajasthan due to icy winds
- Meteorologists said that due to the melting of snow on the mountains, the icy wind coming from there and the cold wind blowing 12 km above is causing cold in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
- There is no hope of respite from such severe cold for the next two-three days. In areas where the temperature is below 10 degrees, cold weather will continue.
Heavy rain in North East, less winter in South
- The Meteorological Department has said that the period of heavy rains will continue in the North East states. Strong wind and heavy rain along with lightning are expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on Friday.
- The effect of cold in the states of South India is less than the states of North India. There was heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala for last one week. The rain has stopped here since Thursday night. The Meteorological Department has said that there may be rain in the states of South India from November 25.
