The high school and the intermediate examinations of the UP Board will start late this time reportedly due to the upcoming celebrations of the Maha Kumbh Mela in 2025. Kumbh Mela is a sacred pilgrimage that will be held in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26, 2025. The examinations are likely to begin in the first week of March after the bath taken by the devotees on Maha Shivaratri. As per the reports, the centres are being allocated for the board examinations (classes 10th and 12th). The reports point out that the administration is taking sufficient steps to ensure that cheating doesn’t happen in the examination centres. As per the reports, the control rooms will be set up at board headquarters, divisional and state levels. Reportedly, the examination rooms will also be monitored through online CCTV cameras.
Practical examinations will commence in December 2024 and will be finished by January 2025. After the practical examinations have ended, the written exams will be conducted in March 2025. Despite the delayed examination start, the UP board has assured that they will evaluate and declare the results on time. This year a total of 54,38,597 candidates will appear in the board examinations. This includes 27,40,151 high school and 26,98,446 intermediate students.
Bhagwati Singh, the new UP Board secretary, will conduct the board examination for the first time this time. He has issued special guidelines to ensure that the examination’s conduct remains smooth and transparent. According to a report, Bhagwati Singh has introduced the use of Artificial Intelligence. This system will enhance the security of the strong room. This system stores the question papers and the answer sheets. It is based on specially tailored software designed especially for the board’s requirements.
The students are expected to check the board’s website regularly to know about the date sheet. These are the steps to download the date sheet.

Please note that the download link will become active only after the date sheet is officially released. The UP Board Exam Admit Card is expected to be issued 7-10 days before the exam date.

Step 2: Now, search for the link titled UPMSP Class 10 Time Table 2025 or UPMSP Class 12 Time Table 2025. Click on it.
Step 3: The UPMSP 2025 exam date sheet will appear on your screen.
Step 4: Download the Class 10 or Class 12 timetable for the 2025 UP Board exams to your device.
Step 5: Take out a copy of the UPMSP Board Exam Date Sheet 2024-25 for future reference and preparation planning.
