The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has extended the registration deadline for the Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2024. As per the latest updates, the last date to register for the Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2024 is Friday, November 15. Candidates can apply for several internship positions via the official website at pminternship.mca.gov.in.
“The application window has been extended until 15th November. Take advantage of this opportunity to shape your future! We encourage you to regularly monitor the portal, email, and phone for updates. Please note, there are no registration or application fees,” a note on the official website reads.
Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2024: Who Can Apply?
– Candidates who wish to apply for the PM Internship Scheme must be between the ages of 21 and 24.
– They must have completed higher secondary school or at least high school.
– A Polytechnic Institute diploma, an ITI certificate, or a degree such as a BSc, BCom, BA, BCA, BBA, or B Pharma is required.
Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2024: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Go to the official website at pminternship.mca.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the “Register” link and enter the required details.
Step 3: Once the information has been submitted, the system will automatically create your resume using the data you have entered.
Step 4: Next, submit applications for up to five internships, mentioning your choices for sector, location and qualifications.
Step 5: Download the confirmation page for your records after submitting your application.
There are 80,000 internship positions available in 24 sectors under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme 2024, which is being led by renowned firms such as Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, Tata Group and Jubilant FoodWorks.
Over the next five years, the scheme, which supports young people’s professional growth, hopes to help 10 million people. During the internship period, interns will be paid a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month. The host company will contribute Rs 500 of this sum through its CSR funds, with the government covering the remaining Rs 4,500. Additionally, the scheme complies with the reservation regulations for Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC).
