Rs 2.5 crore in cash was seized from Navi Mumbai on Monday, 9 days before voting for Maharashtra Assembly elections. Police suspect that this amount was being used illegally in the elections.

Fire breaks out after explosion in Indian Oil refinery in Vadodara, 1 dead, 2 injured
There was an explosion in the IOCL refinery in Koyli area of Vadodara district of Gujarat on Monday evening, after which a fire broke out. One person died and two people were injured in the accident.
On receiving the information, 10 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. The fire could not be extinguished till late night. Police said that the fire broke out in the storage tank of the refinery. A plume of smoke was seen several kilometers away.
