A 35-year-old man was celebrating Diwali with his family and friends. He walked a few steps in front of his house in Maharashtra’s Pimpri Chinchwad to burst crackers when a speeding car hit him, throwing him several feet away. The incident captured on CCTV showed the man, Soham Patel, in a red kurta standing next to a boy, bending to light the cracker when a car hit him from the front. The man died due to the injuries.
