The Department of School Education in Andhra Pradesh will release the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or AP TET 2024 today, November 2. Once released, candidates who appeared for the exam can check their scores from the official website at aptet.apcfss.in by following the simple steps given below.
AP TET 2024: How to Check Scores?
Step 1: Visit aptet.apcfss.in.
Step 2: Click on the result link on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter the required credentials.
Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download and keep a hard copy for future reference.
Candidates must note that the final answer key was released on the official website on October 30.
To qualify for AP TET, candidates must secure 60 per cent or above. Candidates belonging to the BC category, are required to secure 50 per cent and above marks. SC, ST, differently abled, ex-servicemen category candidates are required to attain 40 per cent and above marks.
There are two papers in the exam. Candidates who qualify for paper 1 will be eligible to teach in classes 1 to 5 and the candidates who clear paper 2 will be eligible to teach classes 6 to 8. The exams were conducted between October 3 and 21. The exam was held in two sessions — one from 9:30 am to noon and the other from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
AP TET 2024
To apply for AP TET 2024, candidates must have a minimum of 45 per cent marks in class 12 or its equivalent. The exam is held for 2-hour and 30-minute. It consists of 150 MCQs. Paper 1 is divided into five sections — child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, mathematics, and environmental studies. A total of 30 MCQs worth one mark are included in each section. Paper 2 is divided into five sections — child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, and subjects relating to the elected stream. There are 30 multiple-choice questions in the first three sections and 60 in the final segment.
