An encounter broke out between the police and militants of the banned Tritiya Sammelan Presentation Committee (TSPC) on Wednesday evening in the Ganiyotri forest of Chatra, Jharkhand. Two militants were killed in this. One has been arrested. The slain militants have been identified as TSPC Sub Zonal Commander Harendra Ganjhu and Ishwar Ganjhu. Police said that an AK 47 has been recovered. Search operation is going on.

8 students injured in bus accident in Kohima, Nagaland, treated by army doctors and paramedics
Eight students were injured in a bus accident in Kigwema village of Kohima district of Nagaland. Doctors and paramedics of the Indian Army’s Spear Corps treated the injured students. Spear Corps shared photos of the rescue on X.
