The party high command has given more importance to Union Minister Rao Inderjit on all three seats of Rewari. Because of this, the old workers of the party are angry.

1. There is huge resentment among Kaprivas in Rewari.
Leaders angry over ticket cancellation: This time BJP has shifted Laxman Singh Yadav, who was MLA from Kosli, to Rewari seat. Apart from being an old worker of the party, Laxman is also the favorite of Rao Inderjit Singh. After Laxman got the ticket, old and senior leaders of the party got upset.
Former district chief Satish Yadav, who had joined the party in the hope of a ticket, is contesting the elections as a rebel Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate, while Prashant alias Sunny Yadav is contesting as an independent candidate. However, the biggest threat to BJP is from former MLA Randhir Singh Kapriwas and former Chairman of Tourism Corporation Dr. Arvind Yadav.
Kept away from publicity: After getting tickets, both these leaders have completely distanced themselves from campaigning. Randhir Singh Kapriwas became MLA for the first time by winning the election on BJP ticket in 2014. In 2019, when his ticket was cut at the behest of Rao Inderjit, he rebelled and contested the elections as an independent candidate and secured more than 35 thousand votes.
Although Randhir Singh Kapriwas himself lost the election, Randhir Singh Kapriwas played the biggest role in the defeat of BJP candidate Sunil Musepur. After being suspended from the party, Randhir Singh Kapriwas again joined BJP before the Lok Sabha elections.
Are staking their claim for tickets from two elections: This time also Kaprivas was considered to be the strongest contender for the ticket, but the party did not give him the ticket. On the other hand, Dr. Arvind Yadav, who was claiming the ticket for the last two elections, also did not get the ticket. Because of this he has also become a silent rebel for the second time.
Both Dr. Arvind Yadav and Randhir Singh Kapriwas have had a good influence on this seat. In such a situation, it is a big challenge for Laxman Singh Yadav from Rewari seat to deal with these silent rebels. Whereas, strong efforts have been made by the party high command to convince them.
2. Big faces left in Kosli, candidate who lost councilor election got ticket
Kosli is the second most important seat of Rewari district. From here, BJP has given ticket to Anil Dahina, who had also lost the District Councilor election. Anil Rao is special to Indrajit, due to which he got the ticket. Whereas, apart from former minister Vikram Contractor, many leaders including CM Nayab Saini’s OSD Abhimanyu Yadav were involved in the ticket race.
Ignoring all these, the party gave ticket to Anil Dahina at the behest of Rao Inderjit Singh. Initially there was open opposition to ticket distribution. Former ministers Vikram Contractor and Rampal Yadav were two big faces among those who protested.
Instead of rebelling against the party, both the leaders are playing the role of silent rebels by staying within the party. Apart from this, old BJP workers have completely distanced themselves from Anil Dahina’s campaign. When efforts were made to persuade them, they rebelled and refused to contest the elections, but they were not seen campaigning in favor of the party candidate.
3. Ticket of two-time MLA canceled
BJP candidate Dr. Banwari Lal has won the last 2 elections in Bawal, the only reserved seat of the district. Both times Dr. Banwari Lal became a minister in the state government. Dr. Banwari Lal was close to Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, but after becoming a minister, he became close to former CM Manohar Lal Khattar. Rao Inderjit Singh did not like this.
Therefore, this time the ticket of Dr. Banwari Lal was cut and BJP made Dr. Krishna Kumar, who had left the job of Director from the Health Department, as its candidate. Dr. Krishna Kumar is also special to Rao Inderjit Singh. Now the biggest challenge before him is Dr. Banwari Lal, who has been a two-time MLA and minister.
Dr. Banwari Lal has been sitting quietly at home since the ticket was issued. However, a day earlier, when Chief Minister Naib Saini had reached the election campaign of Rewari candidate Laxman Singh Yadav, Dr. Banwari Lal was definitely seen on the stage with him. Whereas, in his own constituency, he has maintained complete distance from the party candidate Dr. Krishna Kumar.
Rao Inderjit’s credibility at stake Ahirwal belt has played an important role in forming the BJP government in Haryana in the 2014 and 2019 elections. There are 11 assembly seats in this belt. In the 2014 elections, BJP had won all the seats, but in 2019, BJP got 9 seats with a loss of 3 seats. This time BJP has distributed tickets in this area on the advocacy of Rao Inderjit.
7 leaders supported by him have been fielded in the election field by giving tickets to 2 leaders of his choice. Aarti Rao, daughter of Rao Inderjit Singh himself, has been given ticket from Ateli, the most important seat of this area. In such a situation, this time the credibility of Rao Inderjit Singh is also at stake in Ahirwal belt. Because of this, Rao Inderjit has been sweating during the election campaign in the entire area for the last 15 days.
