Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus has admitted that a conspiracy was hatched to remove Sheikh Hasina from power. Addressing the Clinton Global Initiative meeting in America, Yunus praised the student leaders of Bangladesh. He said that they are creating a new form of Bangladesh.
Addressing the meeting, Yunus said, “This protest was a very well planned movement in which no one person was made the leader and arrested. Due to this, the youth of the whole country got inspired and this movement became even more powerful.”
After this, Yunus introduced his assistant Mahfuz Alam in the meeting and said that both of us were responsible for this. According to Dhaka Tribune, the Chief Advisor said that if you look at the faces of these student leaders, they will look like ordinary youth. But when they start speaking, you will tremble. They shook the whole country with their speeches and their dedication.

After this, Yunus applauded all the student leaders and wished them all the best for the future. According to the report, the Chief Advisor also mentioned the attacks on student leaders during the Sheikh Hasina government. He said that these leaders stood bravely despite the firing. Former US President Bill Clinton was present next to Yunus during his speech.
Sheikh Hasina resigned on 5 August After the violence in Bangladesh, former PM Sheikh Hasina came to India on August 5. She resigned from her post. On August 22, the interim government also canceled the diplomatic passports of Hasina and her family members.
