PM Modi, who was on a US tour, gifted a silver model train to President Joe Biden on Saturday. On one side of this train was written ‘Delhi to Delaware’, while on the other side was written ‘Indian Railways’. This model train is made of 92.5% silver.

It has been made by artisans from Maharashtra. Apart from this, Modi also presented a Kashmiri pashmina shawl to Biden’s wife and America’s First Lady Jill Biden. Earlier on Saturday night, PM Modi met President Biden in his hometown Delaware.

PM Modi gifted a pashmina shawl to America’s First Lady Jill Biden.

Biden said- India-US partnership is the strongest When Modi arrived, Biden welcomed him with a hug. After this, Biden also showed Modi his house. After the meeting with the Indian PM, the US President wrote on social media, “The partnership between India and America is at its strongest ever in history.”

Biden said that whenever I meet PM Modi, we find new areas of partnership between the two countries. Today was also such a day. Biden praised PM Modi’s visit to Ukraine and Poland.

Apart from this, the US President also supported India’s permanent membership in the United Nations. The drone deal was also discussed between the two leaders. Biden welcomed this deal with India. India is in the process of purchasing 31 MQ-9B SKY Guardian and SEA Guardian drones from the US. The cost of these drones is around $3 billion.

This is the same sandalwood box that Modi gifted to Biden during his state visit to the US last year. It contained 10 boxes along with an idol of Lord Ganesha and a diya.

Modi had given 10 danams and 7.5 carat diamonds to Biden Earlier in June last year, PM Modi, who went on a state visit to America, had gifted ‘Das Daanam’ to Biden. Actually, there is a tradition in India that this donation is given to the person who sees a thousand full moons. According to calendar calculations, when a person is 80 years and 8 months old, he would have seen a thousand full moons. Biden has crossed this stage in his life.

The Das Daanam included 10 gifts like a silver-plated coconut, sandalwood, sesame seeds, gold coin, ghee, rice. Apart from this, Modi gifted a 7.5 carat eco-friendly green diamond to Jill Biden.
