During this time, there was no such conversation between Titan and the ship that would indicate any emergency on the submarine. The ship sent a message to Titan for the first time at 10:49 am that the contact was lost.

After this, messages were sent every two to three minutes but there was no response from the submarine. After this, at 11:15, the owner of the Polar Prince was informed about this.

In the hearing, the former staff said that the submarine already had many defects In the court hearing on Monday, former chief engineer of Oceangate Tony Nisin gave his first testimony. He said that he was under a lot of pressure to take the submarine into the deep sea and operate it. He said that there were many problems in the submarine. Despite this, it was taken into the deep sea.

Nisin said that Titan was never checked by a third party. Therefore, he did not approve it. Due to this, he was fired from the company in 2019. Nisin said that it had become difficult to work with Rush (CEO of Oceangate Company). He used to do whatever he wanted.

The second witness in court was Bonnie Carl, former CFO of OceanGate Company. Carl said that she left the company in 2018 due to security related problems.

Titan was kept in extremely cold temperatures Investigators told the court that for some time in the winter before the accident, Titan was kept in extremely cold temperatures outside a facility in Newfoundland. They also said that Titan had faced problems several times before the accident. According to records, Titan had 70 equipment-related problems in the year 2021 and 48 problems in 2022.

On June 18 last year, the Titan submarine went missing in the Atlantic Ocean. After 4 days of hard work, its debris was found 1600 meters away from the Titanic ship. 5 people died in this. Oceangate CEO Rush was also among them. Apart from this, Pakistani billionaire Prince Dawood and his son also died in the accident.
