Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has alleged that Muslims are suffering in India. Khamenei, in a post on X on Monday (September 16), included India among the countries where Muslims are suffering.
Khamenei wrote in the post that the Muslims of the world should not remain unaware of the suffering of Muslims living in India, Gaza and Myanmar. He said that if you cannot understand their suffering then you are not a Muslim.
Khamenei alleged that the enemies of Islam have been creating divisions among Muslims.
The Ministry of External Affairs said- look at your records The Indian Foreign Ministry has reacted to this comment of Khamenei. The ministry issued a press release saying that we condemn Khamenei’s statement. It cannot be accepted. It is completely misleading.

Khamenei said, “The Islamic Ummah is a fundamental issue that transcends country boundaries and identities. Many people are exacerbating religious differences in the Islamic world, especially in Iran.”
