The Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday released a list of 40 star campaigners for the Haryana assembly elections. This includes the names of most of the big leaders of the Centre and the state, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, JP Nadda.

The most shocking name is that of Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal. His mother Savitri Jindal has rebelled against BJP and is contesting from Hisar and the party has made her son Naveen Jindal a star campaigner. Savitri is one of the richest women in the country.
This picture is of September 12, when Savitri Jindal filed her nomination as an independent candidate while her son Naveen Jindal was seen filling the form for BJP candidate.
Similarly, wrestler Vinesh Phogat is contesting the elections on a Congress ticket but her cousin Dangal girl Babita Phogat will be a star campaigner from the BJP.
However, the name of former state party president Ram Bilas Sharma is missing from this list. The party has also denied him ticket from Mahendragarh seat and has fielded Kanwar Singh Yadav in the election.
This list includes three Union Ministers and 13 big leaders of the state including the Chief Minister. These include CM Naib Saini, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, State President Mohanlal Badoli, Rao Indrajit Singh, Krishnapal Gurjar, BJP Parliamentary Board member Dr. Sudha Yadav, Naveen Jindal, Chaudhary Dharambir Singh, Kiran Chaudhary, Kuldeep Bishnoi, Ashok Tanwar, Ramchander Jangra, star campaigners.
Most star campaigners from Southern Haryana Southern Haryana is called the stronghold of BJP. There are 24 assembly seats from Bhiwani to Faridabad district. This area has played an important role in forming the BJP government in the state both in 2014 and 2019. From here, the party has made the biggest face, Minister of State in the Central Government, Rao Indrajit Singh, a star campaigner.
Rao Inderjit Singh himself has influence on 11 seats of Ahirwal belt in southern Haryana. The party has also given tickets to 7 people from the area as per his choice. While his arch rival former MP Dr. Sudha Yadav will also focus on Yadav dominated seats. Similarly, Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar is the star campaigner in Faridabad belt. As a Gurjar leader, he will also be sent for campaigning in different seats of the state.
Apart from Rajya Sabha MP from Bhiwani district and daughter-in-law of former CM Bansi Lal Kiran Chaudhary, MP Chaudhary Dharambir Singh and Dangal girl Babita Phogat have been included. Kiran Chaudhary and Chaudhary Dharambir will campaign for the candidates in Bhiwani as well as Mahendragarh district. While Babita Phogat will also seek votes for different candidates. Babita had contested the last election from Dadri but this time the party did not give her a ticket. She has been fielded in the election campaign as a star campaigner.
GT belt is the responsibility of CM Saini, Khattar and Baroli The names of Chief Minister Naib Saini, Union Minister Manohar Lal, State President Mohan Lal Baroli and Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal have been included in the list of star campaigners from GT Belt, which is said to be the second strongest area for the BJP.
Jindal will be in charge of campaigning in Hisar zone apart from Kurukshetra. While CM Saini, Manohar Lal Khattar and Mohan Lal Badoli will tour the entire state as star campaigners, their main focus will be on the GT belt. There are about 30 assembly seats in the GT belt from Sonipat district to Ambala.
In the last two elections, BJP has got an edge here too. Nayab Saini himself is contesting from Ladwa seat. While Manohar Lal Khattar is an MP from Karnal. Badoli comes from Sonipat district, but is not contesting the elections this time.
Kuldeep Bishnoi-Jindal is a big face in Hisar zone In the list of star campaigners in Hisar zone, apart from former CM Bhajan Lal’s son Kuldeep Bishnoi, former MP Ashok Tanwar and Ramchandra Jangra have been made star campaigners. Naveen Jindal is also included in this list. Apart from Hisar, Kuldeep has a hold in Fatehabad and Sirsa districts.
On Kuldeep’s insistence, the party has given tickets to 5 people this time. Kuldeep is a big face of the Bishnoi community. The Bishnoi community has votes in Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa and Bhiwani districts. Kuldeep will campaign to woo this vote bank. The Jindal family has influence in Hisar and the surrounding areas, due to which Jindal will also contest in favour of candidates on some seats.
CMs of 5 states and Hema Malini will also campaign In the Haryana assembly elections, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, CM Hemant Vishwakarma from Assam, Bhajanlal Sharma from Rajasthan, Mohan Yadav from Madhya Pradesh will come to campaign. Apart from this, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Piyush Goyal, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Hardeep Puri, Ranveet Bittu, Biplab Deb, Anurag Thakur, Smriti Irani, former CM Vasundhara Raje, Rajasthan Deputy CM Diya Kumari, in-charge Satish Punia, MP Hema Malini, Sanjeev Baliyan, Surendra Singh Nagar will campaign.
