  • On September 12, the US market Dow Jones closed at 41,096, up 0.58%. Nasdaq closed at 5,595, up 1.00%, and S&P500 closed at 5,595, up 0.75%.
  • According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) bought shares worth ₹7,695.00 crore on September 12. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) sold shares worth ₹1,800.54 crore.

Western Carriers IPO will open today The initial public offering (IPO) of light logistics company Western Carriers Limited will open today. Investors will be able to bid for shares till September 18. The company’s shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on September 23.

However, later both these indices came down slightly and the Sensex rose 1,439 points (1.77%) to close at 82,962 and the Nifty rose 470 (1.89%) points to close at 25,388.
