Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has described Nawaz Sharif’s party as a failure to run the government. According to Pakistan media house ARY News, Pakistan Peoples Party leaders from Punjab met the President in Lahore on Wednesday.
In this meeting the leaders expressed their displeasure to the President regarding the central and state governments. After this President Zardari expressed his displeasure against the government.
In fact, Shahbaz Sharif’s party Muslim League has the support of Bilawal’s party in the Center and Punjab. President Asif Ali Zardari is Bilawal’s father and former president of the PPP party. In such a situation, this meeting is being seen as a rift in the government.
PPP leader said- our rights are being taken away
According to reports, PPP leaders complained in the meeting that the party’s rights are being taken away. The central and Punjab governments are not helping the party. Even the elected leaders are not able to get work done in their areas.
The leaders said in an angry tone that ‘We have also been elected by the people by giving votes, we have to complete the work of the people of our area. We have to satisfy the voters. On this, President Zardari assured that the problems of the party leaders will be solved soon.

Zardari said- find solution through dialogue
According to media reports, President Zardari said that Muslim League has failed to run the government. Now I have come into the field myself and work will be done from Islamabad to Lahore. No one can compete with the PPP party.
He further said that the PPP is capable of forming and toppling governments. However, at present President Zardari has spoken of resolving the problem through dialogue.

Gilani said- do not underestimate South Punjab
On the other hand, PPP leader Ali Haider Gilani said in a statement that the citizens of South Punjab should not be underestimated. Gilani accused the Punjab government of ignoring the people of South Punjab.
During the discussion, he accused the Punjab government of weakening the South Punjab Secretariat. This secretariat was built by the previous government. He said that the recent government has removed every secretary of the South Punjab Secretariat.
