Bollywood actor Sunny Deol along with his son Karan Deol reached late father Dharmendra’s 100-acre farmhouse in Maharashtra.
After reaching this farmhouse situated in the hills of Lonavala, away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai, Sunny Deol looked emotional remembering his father.
He shared a video of this visit on social media, in which he is standing in the middle of the fields watching the harvesting and cleaning of paddy. Sunny wrote ‘Missing you Papa’ in the caption of the post.
‘Apne’ song played in the background
In the video shared by Sunny Deol, he is seen standing in the fields of the farmhouse with his son Karan Deol. There local laborers are busy cleaning paddy. During the video, Sunny tells his son – “This is my father’s farm, he was a great father to you”, to which Karan nods yes. Sunny has put the title track of her famous film ‘Apne’ in the background of this video and expressed her feelings with red heart emoji.
Bought a farmhouse in 1985, was fond of farming
This farmhouse is spread over an area of about 100 acres between the hills of Lonavala and Khandala in Maharashtra, which Dharmendra bought in the year 1985. Dharmendra considered this property as his most relaxing place. In this farmhouse made of wood and stones, he used to grow fruits and vegetables with his own hands. Dharmendra often shared his videos with fans on social media while driving a tractor or doing farming.
Dharmendra left his Juhu house and started living in a farmhouse.
Despite being the owner of property worth crores, Dharmendra liked the simplicity of this farmhouse more than the glamor of Mumbai. In the last years of his life, he left his house in Juhu, Mumbai and started living permanently at this farmhouse. He lived there close to nature and spent time with the local people. He died on 24 November 2025 at the age of 89.
