Indian cricket team’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has joined BJP. He took membership of BJP on Thursday, 5 September. Jadeja’s wife Rivaba is a BJP MLA from Jamnagar, Gujarat. Jadeja announced his retirement from this format after the T20 World Cup in June this year.

Jadeja has campaigned several times with his wife Rivaba. He was seen campaigning for the BJP along with Rivaba during the elections. He also did several road shows.

Jadeja scored 3036 runs in 72 Test matches and took 294 wickets in this format. He played 197 ODIs, scoring 2756 runs and taking 220 wickets. Jadeja played 74 T-20 Internationals, scoring 515 runs and taking 54 wickets.

Ravindra Jadeja made his T20 debut for India in 2009. He played a total of 74 matches in this format. He scored 515 runs at a strike rate of 127.16 and took 54 wickets.

Jadeja is a left-arm bowler. He was included in the T20 team from 2009 to 2024. During this time he played a total of 30 matches. In these, Jadeja scored 130 runs and took 22 wickets. At the same time, he played 6 matches in the Asia Cup. In these, he scored 35 runs in two innings.

Jadeja could not do anything special in the World Cup
Jadeja scored only 36 runs in five innings of 8 matches in the T20 World Cup 2024. During this his scores were 2, 17, 9, 7, 10. Not only this, he also took only 1 wicket in bowling.
