Crime thriller film ‘Drishyam 3’ has crossed the Rs 500 crore earning mark at the worldwide box office. With a worldwide collection of Rs 501.80 crore, it has become the first film of Ajay Devgan’s career as a lead actor to join the Rs 500 crore club. According to trade website Sacknilk, the film has so far made a net collection of Rs 323.50 crore in India. With this, it has become India’s second highest grossing film in the year 2026. There was a 41% jump in earnings on Tuesday. The film earned Rs 8.50 crore in India on the 12th day of its release i.e. second Tuesday. It registered an increase of 41.7% compared to Monday’s collection of Rs 6 crore. This improvement in collections was seen on Tuesday due to reduction in ticket prices and addition of about 1,000 new screens. Earlier, the film had collected Rs 245.50 crore in its first week. Released on October 2, the film collected Rs 176.50 crore in its first weekend. In the worldwide collection, after ‘Dhurandhar 2’, ‘Drishyam 3’ (Rs 501.80 crore) has left behind both ‘Border 2’ (Rs 464.50 crore) and ‘Hanuman Ansh’ (Rs 436.75 crore) in terms of total worldwide collection. Only ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is ahead in this list, which has collected Rs 1852.44 crore worldwide. ‘Drishyam 3’ is getting the direct benefit of no big new film being released in the second week in theatres. Drishyam 3, the biggest film of Ajay Devgan’s 35-year-old career, is proving to be a blockbuster in the first week of its release. With this, it has become the highest grossing film of Ajay’s 35 year career. Till now this record was held by Singham Again, released in 2024, which had collected Rs 389 crore. Apart from this, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Drishyam 2 are also among the highest grossing films of Ajay’s career.
