गुजरात बीजेपी राज्यसभा सांसद को हाईकोर्ट का समन: राजेश शुक्ल पर नामांकन-पत्र में आपराधिक मुकदमा छिपाने का आरोप

Gujarat High Court on Friday issued summons to BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Rajesh Shukla. In fact, Congress leader Tushar Chaudhary had filed a petition in the High Court against Shukla on charges of hiding information about criminal cases. AICC national spokesperson and senior advocate Shaktisinh Gohil and his colleague Chintanbhai Champaneri strongly advocated the case on behalf of the petitioner in the court. According to Gohil, Rajeshbhai had officially claimed in the affidavit during his nomination that there was no criminal case pending against him. Whereas in reality, cases were registered against him under sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC related to fraud and forgery. However, Raju Shukla told Dainik Bhaskar that he has not received any notice yet. Petitioner’s lawyer Gohil said in the court – Shukla had also been summoned by the lower court in these criminal cases. The MP had also filed a petition in the High Court to get the FIR cancelled, but he did not get any relief or stay from there. Despite knowing all these facts, he completely hid this information from the Election Commission, on the basis of which his election should now be cancelled. Gohil has expressed his gratitude to Gujarat High Court by releasing a video statement. He clarified that the law is the same for all and it is legally mandatory for every candidate to give information about the cases pending against him. Referring to the recent elections in Madhya Pradesh, Gohil said that the nomination of Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan was immediately canceled there on technical grounds. After in-depth investigation of this similarity and technical aspects, an election petition (3/2026) was filed in the High Court by the Congress. The court had heard the matter in detail on Wednesday and today issued a formal summons (notice) to the MP. Shaktisingh Gohil said that since this matter is still under consideration of the court, he will not make any additional comment on this subject, but this step of the court has given hope for justice. ————— Also read this news… Nomination of MP-Rajya Sabha candidate Natarajan rejected: Congress said – will go to court against it.
