Israel has killed a Hamas terrorist in an airstrike on Saturday. Giving this information on Sunday, the Israeli Army (IDF) said that the terrorist has been identified as Saher Nidal Latfi Sakar.
According to the IDF, Sakar kidnapped Noa Argamani and his partner Avinatan Or from the Nova Music Festival on October 7, 2023. He made both of them sit on a motorcycle and forcibly took them to Gaza.
The IDF said that Sakar was linked to jihadist organizations operating in Gaza around the world. During the war he used to supply weapons to Hamas. Apart from this, he also played an important role in preparing attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians.
On October 7, 2023, 25-year-old Noa Argamani was separated from her friend and kidnapped by Hamas fighters after attacking the Tribe of Nova trance festival.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas attacked a music festival in the border area of Israel. About 1200 people were killed in this attack, while 251 were taken hostage.

Israeli army rescued Noah in 2024
25-year-old Noa Argamani was rescued from Gaza by the Israeli Army under ‘Operation Arnon’ on 8 June 2024.
Apart from Noah, in this operation, Israeli citizens Andrei Kozlov, Almog Mir Jan and Shlomi Ziv, who were kidnapped on October 7, were also rescued.
At the same time, Noah’s companion Avinatan Or was released in October 2025 under US President Trump’s Gaza deal.
In 2024, Noa Argamani attended an emergency meeting in Jerusalem on the health situation of Israelis held hostage in Gaza.
The rescue operation was named after the martyred soldier.
‘Operation Arnon’ was launched by the Israeli Army on 8 June 2024 in Nusirat area of Gaza. The purpose of this operation was to free the Israeli hostages from the capture of Hamas.
Special units of the Israeli Army (IDF), Shin Bet and Yamam worked together to carry out this rescue operation.
This operation was named after Arnon Zamora, commander of Yamam, the Israeli police special force.
He was seriously injured by Hamas firing while rescuing hostages in Gaza. He was taken by helicopter to an Israeli hospital, but died a few hours later.
