IILM University student hit by Thar and beaten
Six students have been detained after a clash outside IILM University in Gurugram’s Sector 53, where Thar-borne youths allegedly attacked students, including a third-year BA Psychology student.
The student was allegedly first hit by a Thar SUV and was then brutally beaten. He suffered serious injuries in the assault. The accused youths also allegedly assaulted female students during the incident.
What happened outside university
According to the information available, the incident took place outside the university after a clash involving two groups. After the alleged assault, all the accused youths fled the spot.
A complaint was subsequently submitted at the Sector 53 Police Station.
Following information about the clash, a team from the Sector 53 police station reached the campus and took preventive action based on the complaint. Police took six students into custody and began investigating the circumstances that led to the fight.
No FIR has been registered in the matter so far.
University starts disciplinary action
