This look of Alia is much talked about with old-school fashion, sparkling details and classic styling. Along with Alia, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal are also in the lead roles in this big budget film.
In the first picture that surfaced, Alia Bhatt is seen in retro fashion of the 60s and 70s. Special attention has been paid to bling and vintage styling in her outfit.
Ranbir Kapoor’s powerful style was seen

Ranbir is seen with a thick moustache, blood stained shirt and goggles. His look gives a glimpse of the character’s rough and strong style.

‘Love and War’ will be released worldwide on January 21, 2027. This film will be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. It is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Release date of ‘Love and War’ changed several times
The release date of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Love and War’ has been changed several times till now. Its release was initially announced in January 2024. At that time the film was planned to be released on Christmas 2025.
Due to large scale shooting and production taking a long time, the release was postponed. After this, it came to light that the film would be released in March 2026. Meanwhile, the release date of August 14, 2026 was also discussed.
However, the work of the film could not be completed within the stipulated time. The time increased especially due to the big VFX and aerial action scenes. After this the makers decided the new release date of the film. The theatrical release is scheduled for January 21, 2027.
Vicky’s first film with Bhansali
Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal will be seen together for the first time in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’. However, Ranbir and Alia have worked with Bhansali before also.
Ranbir Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with ‘Saawariya’ (2007) under the direction of Bhansali. Sonam Kapoor was also in the lead role with him in the film.
Alia Bhatt worked with Bhansali for the first time in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ (2022). She played the role of Gangubai in the film. For this role, Alia received the Best Actress Award at the National Film Awards.
At the same time, Vicky Kaushal has not done any film under the direction of Bhansali before ‘Love and War’. In such a situation, this is the first film for him with Bhansali.

An accident occurred on the set of ‘Love and War’ in June.
The film ‘Love and War’ came into discussion after an accident on the sets in June 2026. On June 17, 42-year-old carpenter Chandradhari Singh Yadav died of electrocution at Royal Pump Studio near Film City, Mumbai. According to initial reports, the accident was caused by short circuit.
After the accident, Bhansali Productions had announced financial assistance of Rs 40 lakh to the family of the deceased. Federation of Western India Cine Employees i.e. FWICE had demanded to increase the compensation to Rs 50 lakh. The organization had also appealed for education of the children of the family and employment for the wife of the deceased.
After this, All India Cine Workers Association i.e. AICWA wrote a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The organization demanded investigation into the accident and FIR against Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
AICWA also demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore to the family of the deceased. The organization raised questions regarding adherence to safety rules on the sets.
