India is going to have a very busy schedule in the Asian Games on Sunday (20 September). The women’s cricket team will face Bangladesh in the semi-final match, while the women’s and men’s hockey teams will start their campaign. In shooting, the Indian women’s team will aim for a medal in the 10 meter air rifle event. Whereas in Wushu, Suraj Singh Mayangalambam has entered the Men’s Changquan final, where he will have a chance to win a medal. In the morning session, Suchika Tariyal will challenge in the women’s traditional 60 kg mixed martial arts quarterfinals.

Techball is also going to be special for India. Quimsy Joaquim D’Souza has gone for bronze medals in both women’s singles and mixed doubles events. If she achieves a podium finish, it will be India’s first medal in Asian Games in techball. On Sunday, Indian players will also carry forward their respective campaigns in table tennis, swimming and women’s badminton. In swimming, Indian players will have a chance to make it to the finals by overcoming the heats and reach the medal race. Vikrant Baliyan and Aparna will also present challenge in Wushu.
