Rajasthan Local Body, Municipal, Panchayat Election Results 2026 Live: Vote counting for the two-phase urban local body elections in Rajasthan will be held today, September 14, across 10,167 wards in 309 urban local bodies. The results will determine the electoral fate of 38,889 candidates in the fray.
Counting will begin at 8 AM today, with results expected to be declared by this afternoon. The elections were held in two phases: September 9 and 11.
The second-phase polling was held in Rajasthan for six Municipal Corporations, 24 Municipal Councils and 117 municipalities.
According to the State Election Commission, the voter turnout stood at 70.01 per cent, with 61.35 lakh of the 87.63 voters turning up to exercise their franchise. In the first phase of polling in 162 urban local bodies, the voter turnout stood at 76.41 per cent.
Mayors and chairpersons will be elected on September 21, while deputy mayors, deputy chairpersons and municipal vice-presidents will be appointed on September 22.
Jaipur Municipal Corporation Election
Counting for Jaipur Municipal Corporation and 18 other urban local bodies in the Jaipur District will be held today at Shri Bhawani Niketan College of Pharmacy.
A total of 15 counting rooms with 150 tables have been arranged to ensure the smooth counting of votes, according to the news agency YEARS.
