Question-2: Who is Talha Saeed?
Answer: Talha Saeed is the son of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed. Currently lives in Lahore. After Hafiz, he may get the command of terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. At present he is considered number-2.
Joined Lashkar at the age of 12: Talha was born on October 25, 1975. With the formation of Lashkar-e-Taiba in 1987, Talha’s training started under the supervision of terrorist Abdur Rehman Makki. In the 2000s, when Hafiz Saeed started creating social service and political narratives, Talha’s responsibility in Lashkar increased.
Also named in Mumbai terrorist attack: After the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, Hafiz Saeed demonstrated to the people of Pakistan that the attack was not his plan. At that time, Talha had run the entire propaganda campaign of Lashkar in the media. He is also an expert in social media.
Talha Saeed had met Rana Sanaullah, political advisor to Pak PM Shehbaz Sharif in April 2026.
Declared a terrorist in India-USA According to the Indian Home Ministry, Talha handles all this from PoK to carrying out terrorist conspiracies against India, recruitment of terrorists, gathering funds, planning of attacks, terrorist activities in India and Afghanistan. Then Talha contested from NA-127 seat of Lahore but lost to the candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Talha got only 2024 votes in the elections. Latikh Khosa, who won the election, got more than 1 lakh votes.
Recruitment of educated fighters started after Operation Sindoor: According to reports, Talha has ordered the recruitment of educated and young fighters in Lashkar. He spreads Jihadi propaganda through mosques, madrassas, meetings and social media of Pakistan. Takes online classes and prepares boys for terrorism as well as politics.
In June 2026, Talha also met PoK Prime Minister Sardar Atiq Ahmed Khan. According to reports, during this period only the issue of Kashmir was discussed.

Munir’s ‘Maulana General’ image
- Asim Munir has been trained like a Maulana. Studied in Madrasa till 7th standard and memorized Quran. Even after joining the army, he repeated the Quran. In speeches he repeatedly refers to verses from the Quran.
- In a speech given on April 16, 2025, before the Pahalgam attack, he had compared India and Pakistan religiously, ‘We are different from Hindus in every sense, be it religion or purpose.’
- According to Ajay Bisaria, former Indian Ambassador to Pakistan, ‘Under the leadership of Munir, the Pakistan Army is not only protecting the borders but also the religious thinking. They reiterate religious nationalism. He has the support of Maulanas.
Anti-India and fanatic stance on Kashmir
- When the 2019 Pulwama terror attack took place, Asim Munir was the chief of Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Even in his April 2025 speech, Munir had said, ‘Kashmir was, is and will remain our jugular vein.’ Pahalgam attack happened just 6 days later.
- Munir talks about Kashmir’s independence, war and giving a befitting reply to India. On the question of making peace with India, Munir says, ‘When India does not accept the concept of Pakistan, then how can we make peace with them.’
- More than 100 terrorists were killed in Indian attacks during Operation Sindoor in 2025. Masood Ilyas Kashmiri, commander of the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed, had told in September 2025 that Asim Munir had asked the generals of the Pak Army to attend the funerals of those killed.
- Sushant Sarin, senior fellow at the Observer Research Foundation and an expert on Pakistan affairs, says, ‘Maulana Munir is in uniform, but is a jihadi. They keep giving leeway to terrorist groups like Hafiz Saeed. This is preparation for the future.

Help to terrorists after Operation Sindoor
