More than 50 rescue workers are engaged in rescue operations to search for people buried under snow due to the avalanche on Mount Mizhiragi.
An avalanche occurred on Sunday evening on Mount Mizhyrgi, located in the North Caucasus region of Russia. According to local officials, 11 climbers died in the accident. While 10 people somehow came down safely, 6 people are still missing. The rescue team is busy searching for them.
A group of 33 climbers were climbing the mountain when the accident occurred. Suddenly a large amount of snow slipped from the mountain and fell on them, due to which many people were buried under the snow.
