The film Hanuman Ansh is performing strongly at the box office even in its fifth week. The film registered the highest 5th Saturday earning in Hindi, surpassing the previous record of Dhurandhar. Saturday was also the biggest grossing day for the film so far. According to Sacknilk, Hanuman Ansh collected Rs 16.50 crore nett in Hindi language on the fifth Saturday. Whereas Dhurandhar had earned Rs 11.75 crore on 5th Saturday. Hanuman Ansh opened with only Rs 10 lakh nett at the box office. The film earned around Rs 1.50 crore nett in the first two weeks. In the third week the earning increased to Rs 10.40 crore net and in the fourth week the film collected Rs 61 crore net. In the first two days of the fifth week itself, the film has earned Rs 26.25 crore nett. Its collection is expected to increase in future also. After the fifth Saturday’s earnings, Hanuman Ansh reached close to the Rs 100 crore nett mark in India. The total net collection of the film has reached ₹99.38 crore. Today there is full hope that the film will cross the Rs 100 crore nett mark. After which it will become the first Indian film which has made it to the Rs 100 crore nett club after opening at less than Rs 1 crore at the Indian box office. While ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ earned ₹32 crore on the second day, ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ maintained its strong hold at the box office on the second day as well. According to Sacknilk, the film collected ₹32.00 crore nett in India on the second day. The film’s India gross collection so far is ₹69.30 crore and India net collection is ₹57.75 crore. Meanwhile, the film earned ₹6.00 crore on the second day overseas, taking the total overseas gross collection to ₹10.25 crore. The worldwide gross collection of ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’ has reached ₹79.55 crore in two days. Karan Johar said- ‘Solid, strong and spicy film’ Filmmaker Karan Johar has praised the film after watching ‘Mirzapur: The Movie’. After the release of the film, he shared its trailer on Instagram Story and gave his reaction. Karan wrote, “Mirzapur is a solid, tough and spicy film. I love this series and I also enjoyed the film a lot. All the old and famous characters are fantastic and also make room for new characters. Even if you have not seen the series, you will still like the film.” It is noteworthy that Mirzapur The Movie is one of the first big theatrical films of Excel Entertainment, which comes from a successful streaming franchise. ‘Mirzapur’ series was released on Amazon Prime Video. The first season of ‘Mirzapur’ was released on 16 November 2018, with a total of 9 episodes. The second season was followed on 23 October 2020, consisting of 10 episodes. Whereas, the third season was released on 5 July 2024. This season also had a total of 10 episodes.
