Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared glimpses of his Delhi Metro journey to and from the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) programme, where he interacted with fellow passengers during the ride.
In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, “Metro moments… Conversations during last evening’s journey to SRCC and back.”
The Prime Minister had travelled by Delhi Metro to visit SRCC on September 5, which is observed as Teachers’ Day in India.
During the journey, PM Modi interacted with students, children and other commuters. The metro ride preceded his participation in the celebrations marking 100 years of SRCC.
PM Modi later attended the centenary programme at SRCC, returning to the institution 13 years after his previous visit in 2013, when he was the Gujarat chief minister.
