Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan recently told that she left studies after 11th class and started working in films.
While talking to Hanuman Das’ YouTube channel, Kareena said that she did not complete her studies, which she regretted even after getting success. “I didn’t complete my studies and that stayed with me. I got a chance, but I got into films and didn’t study further after Class 11,” she said.
Kareena admitted that people may question her decision to leave studies, but she wanted to prove herself as an actress. She said that she wanted to move forward by listening to her heart.
Kareena clearly said that not completing her education is still a matter of regret for her. “Education is something I regret not completing,” he said.
Children advised to complete their studies first
Kareena said that her own experience has also influenced the way she raises her sons. She wants Taimur and Jeh to pursue their fields of choice, but first complete their education.
“That is why I have stressed on my sons to first complete their education and then follow their heart,” he said.
Taimur was born on 20 December 2016 and Jeh (Jahangir) was born on 21 February 2021.
Let us tell you that Kareena Kapoor’s early education was from Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai and Welham Girls School, Dehradun.
After this he studied commerce at Mithibai College, Mumbai. However, he did not complete a college degree. Kareena also did a three-month course in microcomputers from Harvard Summer School.
After this he took admission in Government Law College, Mumbai. But he left his studies midway to pursue a career in acting.
Kareena works for education
Kareena said that one of the reasons for joining UNICEF to support the education of young girls in India is her own experience. He said that he always regretted that he had not completed his studies.
Kareena has been associated with UNICEF India since 2014 and is working for girls’ education, gender equality and providing good education to children.
Talking about Kareena’s work front, she was last seen in the film Singham Again (2024). She will soon be seen in the film Daira directed by Meghna Gulzar. Kareena will be seen in the role of a police officer in Daira. Daaraa will release in theaters on September 18, 2026.
