Two women were not allowed entry into the maternity ward of Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital because they were wearing burqa. Advocate Jahanara had told that she was stopped from going to the maternity ward because she was wearing a burqa. He claimed that even after introducing himself he was stopped. The female security guard posted outside the ward said that people who come inside wearing burqa steal children. Controversy has arisen after its video went viral on social media. Leaders of many political parties have criticized it.
