PM Modi left from Delhi on Saturday morning for two countries. This will be his four-day visit. First he will go to Uzbekistan and then visit Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan tour: Modi will attend SCO summit, meet Jinping-Putin After the Uzbekistan tour, Prime Minister Modi will stay in Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek from August 31 to September 1. Here he will participate in the 26th summit of SCO. India is a full member of SCO since 2017. Issues like security, terrorism, trade, connectivity and economic cooperation will be discussed in the summit. During the summit, Modi may meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin and leaders of other countries. Uzbekistan is a big producer of gold and is the 10th largest gold producing country in the world. Muruntau located here is one of the world’s largest open-pit gold mines. 4. Birthplace of Babar: Babar, the founder of the Mughal Empire, was born in the city of Andijan in 1483. Babar later came to India via Kabul and laid the foundation of the Mughal Empire by winning the first battle of Panipat in 1526.
