National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC-NET results for 84 subjects. Out of 6.07 lakh candidates who appeared in the examination, more than 97 thousand qualified for admission to PhD, while more than 4 thousand candidates were selected for JRF.
NTA had decided to re-conduct the examination of these three subjects after finding factual, typing, translation and language related errors in the question papers of English, Commerce and Sociology during the examination held in June.
Their re-exam will be held on 9th and 10th September and no additional fees will be charged from the candidates for this. UGC-NET determines the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.
