The government has paid this much so far
PMSBY Scheme was launched by Modi government on 9 May 2015. If we look at the government figures, from its inception till May 2024, the government received a total of 1,80,812 claims and claims of 1,37,404 claims were settled. On this the government paid the insurance amount of Rs 2,728.85 crore. Whereas from June 2024 to April 16, 2025 last year, 36.86 crore new nominations were added to the scheme.
