Skyroot told PM Modi that on July 18, it had successfully placed satellites in orbit with India’s first private rocket. The company has so far prepared 3 factories, which have the capacity to make one rocket every month. The company plans to launch one rocket every month. The goal after this is to launch one rocket every week and several every day in the future. Skyroot has developed one of the most advanced engines in the world, which is undergoing testing. In contrast, in space, drugs and proteins mix together in pure form without any strain. Due to this, the method of making medicines is very precise and clean. Engineers leaving America and Europe and coming to India are seeing a new global trend after the space sector was opened to private players. Indian engineers working in America and Europe are now leaving their jobs and returning to India and joining the country’s space startups. On this, PM Modi said that India should create such an environment that talent from the whole world should turn to India to make a career in the space sector. Indian talent pool can act like a magnet attracting scientists from the world. 8 new international contracts won in 1 month. Indian startups are preparing ground station network at the global level and are ready to export satellite engines. These engines help in moving satellites from one place to another in space for 5 to 15 years. Indian companies are getting good response on the basis of cost-effectiveness i.e. low cost and talent. In the last one month alone, Indian startups have received contracts for 8 new launches, mostly from foreign clients. Preparation to help 10 lakh farmers with space data: Space-tech startups also focus on India’s agriculture sector. The startups plan to help around 10 lakh farmers through space data and satellites. This will provide accurate information about weather, soil moisture and health of crops, so that farming can be made more profitable.
